Last night we had our annual Visitor Center Volunteer Christmas Party. Benetti’s Italian restaurant was kind enough to host it for us for free. We had over 40 people there and a good time was had by all.
They serve their soup family style so you can have as much as you want, and dinner was excellent! I can’t remember what my dish was called but it was this really amazing prime rib served in a marinara sauce with bell peppers and mushrooms over pasta..yummy!
Setting aside how generous the Benetti’s are to us and our community, the soup alone is well worth a visit on a cold day like today. Above the food, my favorite part of going there is the service, the wait staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and make you want to visit them again and again. Call for reservations though as they get very crowded this time of year.
