Beach Going
Beach Combing Walking along the high tide line on the beaches of Oregon's Adventure Coast can provide the opportunity to find many interesting treasures from the sea. Shells, drift wood, and polished rocks or agates are some of the collectibles that can be taken home.

Combing the beach any time of the year, can present treasures and surprises, but going out after a storm is the best. Depending on the time of year, you will find different things. Some may be easy to identify and explain, but others are a mystery. You never know what you'll find, and that's one of the best parts, but, of course, beach combing just to walk the Coastline is certainly reason enough.

Please practice beach safety at all times. Never turn your back on the ocean, stay above the tide line, don't climb on or let children play on logs. And please do not remove any living animals.
