Bring the family and wear your red, white, and blue! On May 30, 2015, at 11 a.m., the United Veterans will hold the 28th Annual Memorial Day parade in downtown Coos Bay. Everyone is invited to join together to pay tribute to our veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country as well as to honor those veterans still among us.
This year, in honor of the end of the Civil War Sesquicentennial, the parade will be held on May 30th – the date on which “Decoration Day” was first observed after the Civil War. Community groups are encouraged to participate in the parade. Click here for more info.
