Music and Fun in Progress at 33rd Annual Oregon Coast Music Festival

Posted by AmyD on July 21, 2011

The Oregon Coast Music Festival kicked off on Saturday, July 16 with an amazing concert featuring Bay Area Concert Band.  We were also treated to performances this week by Gypsy Soul, Jennings and Keller and Coup d’ Bop.

The OCMF is one of the most popular annual events on the Southern Oregon Coast and attracts an estimated 5000+ music lovers to our area each year. It features top caliber performances in jazz, traditional, Native American, blues, Celtic, chamber, and an 80-piece symphony orchestra.

Festival highlights this week include:

  • A fun upbeat (and free!) jazz concert with one of our local favorites- Evolution at Shore Acres State Park on Saturday, July 23 at noon.
  • Orchestra Week Begins July 26 and goes through July 30.
