Not only are we home to the Coos History Museum and the Coos Art Museum , a cultural haven in Oregon since 1966, but we also have exceptional food and drink, festivals, and magnificent destinations that can only be found on Oregon’s South Coast. This one-of-a-kind event, happening in Coos County May 6 – 8, 2022 , is a series of curated experiences designed to take you on a journey to taste , create , & explore Oregon’s South Coast. It’s a rare opportunity for visitors to explore new destinations, discover new friends, and taste the bounty of the area. Here are some highlights of the South Coast Culture Tour in Coos Bay, North Bend, and Charleston.

The South Coast Culture Tour has also joined forces with the Surfrider Foundation , Coos Bay for a day of paddling events, volunteerism, and a special Film Festival at the Egyptian Theater that you won’t want to miss. Other not-to-be-missed experiences include the South Coast Classic ~ Disc Golf Tournament in Bandon City Park Disc Golf Course & John Topits Park, Empire Lakes (Coos Bay) and…

• Digging Your Dinner, a special outing digging for shellfish, followed by a lesson on how to prepare a delicious meal with your catch at Oregon Coast Culinary Institute! Sunday, May 8th ~ 11am-4pm
• Handcrafted Cocktail Making & Tapas Tasting led by Stillwagon Distillery & Wildflour Public House. Saturday, May 7th ~ 4-5:30pm
